If a tourist breaks this rule they will receive a very large fine and the nation that the tourist is from will permanently be removed from the Antarctic Treaty. ![]() Waste Disposal All members involved in the Antarctic Treaty agree that waste disposal should start in Antarctica. Anything tourists bring to Antarctica should be taken back to the tourists own country because things that are non – burnable, recyclable or anything hazardous could be blown into the ocean which can harm the marine wildlife if a tourist breaks this rule they will receive a harsh consequence. ![]() ![]() ![]() Military Activity All members involved in the Antarctic Treaty agree that military activities should definitely be banned in Antarctica as the noises from the gun shots and weaponry can cause noise pollution which can cause the wildlife to be stressed. It is true to say that if bullets are not picked up the penguins can swallow it which could lead to many penguins dying. Many people agree that this could lead to animal extinction. If there is too much noise the penguins could stop breeding and could surely decrease the population of penguins in Antarctica. If a member nation breaks this rule they will receive a fine of $200.000 and will be removed permanently from the Antarctic Treaty.

All members involved in the Antarctic Treaty agree that tourists visiting Antarctica are not to feed the animals as it is not their stable die. They are not to use flash photography and there should be no touching the animals, no loud noise from tourists and especially no capturing animals without a permit. If a tourist breaks this rule they can receive extensive fine and can even be arrested. If a scientist breaks this rule they can be suspended from their job.
