The signatories agree that visitors and scientists have to stay at least 2 m away from the special pristine animals. If any nation were to disobey this rule they will never be allowed to go to Antarctica again. ![]() ![]()
Tourism All nations agree that tourism should be strictly monitored and kept to a minimum so that only 5 cruise liners are allowed to go to Antarctica each year to prevent oil spills. As a consequence, your country will be banned for 15 years and you will have to pay $30 thousand.

Permanent settlement All nations agree that there is to be no permanent settlement in Antarctica as settling in Antarctica would damage the Antarctic Environment. If a country does settle in Antarctica they will be fined $3 million.

Waste Disposal All countries agree that if you go to Antarctica you have to take all rubbish with you so that animals will not choke on your rubbish. As a consequence of not following this treaty you will be banned for 15 years.
