Pollution

All nations agree that pollution harms the environment. All nations must not litter. If nations are seen littering it will result in being banned from the treaty for 2 years.     

Mining

Signed nations of the treaty concur that mining is prohibited in Antarctica. Only Scientists may mine to see how old the ice is. If the Earth starts to run out of gold, coal and fossil fuels. They then may start to mine for these things. Disobeying this rule will lead to a $1 000 000 fine as a consequence.

 

Wildlife

All nations must concur that it is forbidden to hunt any animals from Antarctica. If any nations are seen hunting animals it will lead to a big fine depending on how many and what species they killed.

 

Tourism

The signatories agree that tourism is allowed, but nations are responsible for the damage they have caused. Scientists can stay for 1 year before leaving, while tourist can stay for 6 months. Tourist must keep a distance of 150ft away from animals. Disobeying this rule will mean being banned for 2 years. 

Permanent Settlement

Signed nations of the treaty agree that permanent settlement is forbidden to occur in Antarctica. Not even Scientists can permanently live there, as a consequence you will get a $500 000 fine or a 5 year ban.

 

Waste Disposal

All 44 nations concur that waste disposal is prohibited to occur, as it effects all the marine life. If too much waste disposal takes place the ice may melt causing sea levels to rise. As a consequence any nation waste disposing will get $750 000 fine.
