Pollution
All 47 members of the Antarctic Treaty absolutely agree that noise pollution in Antarctica should be banned forever. Noise pollution in Antarctica is caused by airplanes and building constructions, resulting in penguins and marine life getting stressed and there will be a high risk of the animals becoming extinct. Any nation who breaks this rule will be sentenced to jail for 12 years.
Mining All 47 members of the Antarctic Treaty totally agree that mining in Antarctica should be banned for another 50 years. If the mining did continue many of the animals will die due to the oil spills in the water and washing up in the shore. Also this winter wonderland will no longer be a pristine environment. If any nation breaks this rule they will lose their membership forever.
Animals All 47 members of the Antarctic Treaty personally agree that there should be no feeding of the animals and certainly no touching of the animals. This could harm and effect the animal breeding and there natural diet. Anyone found breaking this rule will be sent back to their country of origin.
Tourism All 47 members of the Antarctic treaty agree that a maximum of 100 tourists are allowed from each country during the summer season this is because the flora and fauna can be effected by foreign organisms attached to the tourists clothing. Anyone found disobeying this rule will receive a staggering fine.
Permanent Settlement All 47 members of the Antarctic Treaty completely agree that permanent settlement is not allowed in Antarctica. This is because the populations of humans going to Antarctica have grown over the last few years. Due to this, much more equipment is needed to be bought to Antarctica causing more and more pollution which will harm the wildlife.Any country who breaks this rule will be investigated by the International Court of Justice. Waste Disposal All 47 members of the Antarctic Treaty strongly agree that waste should be observed as the waste can be burnt safely in a high temperature incinerator. However, the ashes have to be transported out of Antarctica to its original country. Any rubbish that can’t be burnt must be taken back to the country where it came from. Any nation found breaking this rule will be sent back to their country of origin.
Military Activity All 47 members of the Antarctic Treaty definitely agree that military activity should certainly be strictly prohibited in Antarctica. This is because the military equipment such as guns and bombs could put the humans and animals at risk of dying. If military activity commenced, Antarctica will no longer exist. If any nation breaks this rule they will no longer have access to Antarctica forever.
