Waste Disposal All 47 of the Antarctic Treaty definitely agree that waste should be burnt in a high temperature incinerator or all shower water and sewage should be pumped into the ocean. However, the ashes have to be taken back to their country and the water sewage should be cleaned and treated before it goes into the ocean.
