Pollution All members involved in the treaty agree that aircraft are to fly in uninhabited areas, clear of animals. Aircraft which carry tourist are also to follow this rule. It has put in place because the noise pollution disturbs the animals. People who break this rule will go to jail and rehab. ![]() Mining All members involved in the treaty concur that mining is to be ban for an extra 50 years. The ban will be reconsidered in 2091. The ban may be halved if the environment has improved, but if it is mistreated again the ban may be doubled. Whoever breaks this rule will have their mining equipment destroyed. ![]() Animals All members involved in the treaty concur that tourist should not make physical contact with any animal. This includes no flash photography, loud noises, as well as keeping at least 5 meters away from any animal. Capturing of an animal requires a permit. Whoever breaks this rule will be suspended from Antarctica for life. ![]() Tourism All members involved in the Antarctic Treaty agree that tourists numbers should be lowered to 600 people per ship, while the cruise ship numbers should be lowered to 5 per year, per country. This is to reduce the amount of foreign organisms entering Antarctica. Whoever breaks this rule will be removed from the treaty. ![]() Permanent Settlement All members involved in the treaty completely concur that there are to be no permanent settlers in Antarctica. This is because it cost too much money and space to build a place to live. Signatories agree that the only people permitted to abide there are scientist. Whoever attempts to dwell in this harsh environment will receive a ridiculous fine and quickly sent back to their country of origin. ![]() Waste Disposal All members involved in the treaty agree that waste is to be burnt in an incinerator, and then the ashes are to be transported to the country of origin. Domestic liquids are to be treated, and then pumped into the ocean. Whoever breaks this rule will be removed from the treaty. Tourists who break this rule will receive a large fine. Commercial Use All members involved in the treaty positively concur that financial use of Antarctica is strictly prohibited. No creature will be captured and slaughtered for meat for any reason. This includes no fishing and whaling. This rule has been enforced to preserve wildlife and the environment. Anyone caught in the act will be fined a massive $20 000 and the equipment will be confiscated.
